What's New in ZET 9

Main new features:

  • [Geo] Multibot Chart's Mode allowing to create several data sets in one chart (the data set is pair "initial, background"). Thus there is a possibility to place on a chart simultaneously a several natals and a several adhered to everyone natal derivative charts. In particular, it is possible, for example, to look aspects of planets of a progression of one natal to planets of another natal, aspects of a progression of several events to one natal, etc.

  • [Pro] Primary Directions using an oblique ascension at calculation direction angle between promissor and signifocator, are considered correct traditional method. See Bob Makransky. Primary Directions

  • [Pro] Horary Wizard, allowing to automate some stages of construction and the analysis horary charts: a choice of significators and derivative houses, definition of conditions of realisation of aspects etc.

  • [Geo] Google Maps: function carries out access to the Internet Google Maps service, gives out the image of the set site of a terrestrial surface in a separate window, allows to establish geographical co-ordinates of the necessary object to within the 100-th fractions of a second. (30 sm).

  • Traditional Charts: some kinds of traditional (square) cards in the European medieval style and in several Indian styles.

 

Other new features:

  • [Geo] Right (3-dimension) displaying of Placidus house cusps at natal chart, at celestial sphere, at geographical map (ACG).
  • Run second ZET instance with a chart, selected from Data Base or History log.
  • Insonation of interpretation texts by speech synthesizer. Settings of speech synthesizer. The popup tool panel of speech synthesizer in "Text", "Degree overview", "I-Ching Oracle" windows.
  • Calculation of periods of Algol fixed star brightness minima (operation displying and calendar).
  • The "Planet - Part Conjunction" table displys a list of conjunctions of all planets with all parts of current Table of Parts ("Tables" button, "Aspect List" menu item).

Elaboration of functions:

  • [Pro] (50%) Uranian chart.

  • [Pro] The monthly forecast (aspect's diagram) may begins at any day.

  • "Names and Words at Zodiac" function. The name (word) calculates as sum of letters value with some zodiac-alphabet. The name specified as Part by formula: {name}.

  • Second Zodiac Belt: The "zodiac-alphabet" function allows to choose any specified alphabet (also by letter's images, e.g. Ivrit letters). See alphabet.txt and AlphabetIvrit.txt files in LANGUAGE\English folder, and letters image files in LANGUAGE\English\AL folder

  • Second Zodiac Belt: The "I-Ching Hexagram" function allows disply a belt of hexagrams, begins from Asc or from North Node (for cosmogram). The initial hexagram calculates by special ruls. I-Ching interpretation for selected hexagram allowed. I-Ching interpretation texts now located in Library similar as other texts.

  • "Degree Overview" function: shfting of view area by mouse, reset of neighbor degrees interpretation by mouse click of appropriate area of image.

  • The Solar System Mass Center: graphical representation of moving.

  • (90%) Earth globe image option of "Geographical Map" tableau.

  • [Geo] Option to specify a time and geographical coordinates with centisecond (0.01 sec) accuracy.

  • The angular speed of object may displyed with 0.01 arcsec/day accuracy.

  • Possibility to calculate of graphical ephemeris for longitude, latitude (geo- and helio-centric), right accention, declination, altitude, azimuth, angular speed (by longitude).

  • [Geo] Option to disply single prognostic (transit, progressed and ro on) annd fixed chart.
  • Catalog of asteroids: added "Comment" field (there is menu's function for editing), possibility to sort a catalog by this field.
  • The "Aspect Diagram" window: added function to output of aspects exacts list with appropriate aspects coordinates.
  • Data Base: possibility of direct editing of event data.
  • Possibility to cast a chart from calendar-forecast, prognostic graph, graphic ephemeris (with a data according a mouse point).
  • [Pro] Option of switching off computer upon completion of works: search of event (by time), search by criterion (in a data base), rectification by 'Condensations' method.
  • [Pro] The "Search by criterion (in a data base)" function allows to use any chart types, not only natal or transit.

  • The "Mandala" function - disply some image when 'space' button pressed. Possibility to specify up to 10 image files in main ZET folder (with names Mandala.jpg, Mandala1.jpg,... Mandala9.jpg) or any count of image files 'jpg' type with cuatom names in 'Mandala' folder. Possibility to reset (choose) images by 0,1,... 9 keys (image files in main ZET folder) or left-, right-, top-, down-arrow buttons, and by mouse wheel. Allso, if use 'Mandala' folder, it is possible to use popup menu (by right mouse click).

 

Elaboration of Interface:

  • [Geo] The hot-keys manager elaborated.

  • Tools panel setup: small or lage buttons with signs, customizing (selecting from list) set of buttons.

  • Quick cast of charts, sequently saved in a History log, with tool panel buttons or Alt+LeftArrow, Alt+RightArrow keys.

  • Added additional colums in History log: Time, Place, Name 2, Time 2, Place 2. It's possible to disply or not disply any columns and panel of data. It's possible to sort a log by any column and by increasing or decreasing order.

  • The Data Base: changed a shape, it's possible to sort a base by increasing or decreasing order.

  • Manipulation of Arabic Parts table columns order and set ot columns.

 

The Language of Astroformula:
